Conservatory OpeningAs the sun set behind the church, we listened as Steve McTegart told us of his plan to build the conservatory to better the school. This, Richard Howard (Chief Primary Adviser for Oxfordshire) agreed, had been done. But not without a great deal of help from a few key characters and parent volunteers. Everyone was thanked and Richard proceeded to cut the ribbon with a huge pair of scissors. Following much applause from parents, pupils and Governors we all went inside to look around the new conservatory and pledge new books for the library. Following refreshments, a presentation was made to the winners of the Art Competition. Also, on behalf of the Church, Kevin Davies presented a cheque of £1,000 to Sarah Whittaker for the school. We are extremely grateful to the church for their kind contribution. ![]() Thanks go to Trevor Back and John Pitcher, caretaker. ![]() Richard Howard prepares to cut the ribbon. ![]() Parents, Governors and pupils, both current and past, watch the opening of the new conservatory. ![]() Kevin Davies presents a cheque from the Church for £1,000 which Sarah gratefully accepts, on behalf of the school.
