OUR CELEBRATIONS!

Anyone entering the school on Tuesday would have encountered an amazing transformation. It truly was a case of stepping back into Victorian times when all teachers and pupils climbed into crinolines, breeches, various hats, boots and patent shoes! There were ladies with maids in waiting, cooks, chimney sweeps, urchins and workhouse brats! The children had mastered drill techniques instead of gym and PE, stood up as teachers entered the classroom and mastered beautiful handwriting 'lines'. There was an absence of hoops and sticks in the playground but the children appeared to be very at ease during their hands-on history lesson!
